Ambulance Billing
The department utilizes Comstar Ambulance Billing for all billing related tasks.
South County EMS operates under a "fee-for-service" model of billing, where a patient's insurance is charged for care provided during transport to a hospital Emergency Department. South County EMS does not charge patients if they are not transported to a hospital.
